Budget Director - HigherEdJobs

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs, the Budget Director is responsible for all aspects of budgeting. The
Director meets with departments to review budgets and monitor spending. The Director is also responsible for multi-year budget forecasts and
projections. The Budget Director prepares materials for Institute's Board of Trustees Finance and Business Affairs Committee with assistance
from the financial analyst.

The Budget Director is also responsible for cash flow monitoring and reporting, return on investment analysis, developing business plans, and bank wires. In addition, the Director is responsible for conflict of interest collection forms and preparation of conflict reports that are reviewed by the audit committee. The Budget Director in conjunction with the Controller assists the outside and internal auditors with materials needed for their audits.

The Budget Director also is responsible for assisting with the Peoplesoft system integration with New York University. The Director also reviews all of the Institute's contracts and personnel action forms.

Duties as assigned by the Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs.

Requirements:
Five to ten years experience in finance and budgeting at a higher education institution.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field; MBA a plus.
Peoplesoft experience a plus.
