Optimist club seeks volunteers for youth b-ball

The Summit Lake Dillon Optimist Club is looking for volunteers to officiate for the youth basketball teams at Dillon Valley, Silverthorne and Summit Cove. Games begin Monday and run every Monday and Wednesday at 5 and 6 p.m. until Feb. 15. If interested, call Caitlin at (970) 368-1405.

Thrift & Treasure open 9 to 5 p.m. in January

In efforts to improve the shopping and donating experience, Summit Thrift & Treasure, FIRC's thrift store in Dillon, will be undergoing a remodel. Shopping hours will be changed to 9 a.m. to

5 p.m. and donations will be accepted 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Saturday. We apologize for the dust.

Coed 6's volleyball league at Breck Recreation Center

Register now for the winter coed 6's recreational volleyball league. The league plays on Monday nights from Jan. 9-March 12. The league is open to the first eight teams to register. You can register your team at www.breckenridgerecreation.com. The league fee is $270; $50 non-refundable deposit is due at registration. Registration closes at 5 tonight, and a team captain meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the recreation center. Any free agents interested in playing in the league should call Linsey at (970) 547-4321.
